Ovos Coreanos Viciantes (‘Drug Eggs’)

apparently in korea they call these drug eggs because they’re just so damn addictive you can’t
stop eating them so i’m gonna make them to see what all the fuss is about you take some eggs
boil them for seven minutes objectively the best egg boiling time take them out give them that
wim hof treatment and in the meantime chop some green onion ginger red chili garlic and an onion
take all that stuff and put it in some sort of container then add soy sauce rice vinegar honey
sesame oil sesame seeds and some water don’t worry there’s no water from the la river it just has
some soy sauce residue now crack your eggs and peel them i like this rolling technique is pretty good
and just put all of them into this amazing liquid making sure they’re all cozy and submerged cover
and leave them in the fridge overnight and the next day fish them out and guys these were shockingly good
the yolk became jammy and rich and the whole egg just got this really unique savory vibe i ate them with
some rice and a bit more of that liquid oh my god this is the best time i’ve ever had with egg
